October 13, 2018 at 11:18 #2782Hello everyone, my name is Mavy and I was a participant in svst 2016 and co guide in svst 2017. Yesterday I attended the presentation of your colleague who participated in Svst 2018 and I agree with him.
I was passionate about the SV already before participating in the tour, but the tour has completely changed my life. And when I came back, I revolutionized all my plans. The things you know, the people you meet, hosts and participants included, leave a mark and encourage you to do everything to do your best to achieve the profession you choose. In the full mood of failure and therefore knowing that not a few attempts will be enough and that probably many of these will go wrong, but with the perseverance and the experience that only the failure can give you find, I’m sure you’ll be able to create your path. Silicon Valley is an environment where so many brains mix up to create ideas that can improve the world and people’s lives. And now it’s up to you, understand if you want to embark on this journey and get to know closely where every day they work to make science fiction movies the reality.
I leave you a cue of reflection respect to this article: http://www.designatlarge.it/luciano-floridi-la-tecnologia-ha-bisogno-di-filosofia-etica/
How do you think about? Let’s start the discussion!

Inactive@January 26, 2019 at 14:16 #3375Hi,
I am Annila Munsaf. I am a refugee in Torino. I am basically from Pakistan. I am doing Diploma in Web and App Development from ITS Torino, which is a two year course. I am in the final year and recently I won Erasmus+ Traineeship and from mid or end of February to May I will be doing internship abroad in EU (Country maybe Berlin, Luxembourg or Sweden). Moreover, I am also completing Bachelor in Computer Science from University of the People.
It is my dream to visit Silicon Valley as it is a hub of Entrepreneurs and tech companies. I believe that the this study tour is a prodigious fit for both my academic and professional goals. Participating in this program will develop and strengthen my interpersonal skills and will help me to grow professionally.
In my life, there were several ups and down but I struggle for my career and I am still struggling to make my dreams happen. I want to become a Entrepreneur and want to gain more motivation with this opportunity. I am also passionate about Mobile App Development and I am still learning. Moreover, I love experiencing different cultures and different and love travelling.
